Hi Guess I shouldn't say I'm new. I have a Roland 2480-cd that I'm going to cell and go to computer based recording. I have been playing live for over 30 years and also have a computer job besides. The 2480 is nice just hard to work but I like the 16 channel recording for capturing live stuff. Also want to start doing more home studio things with other bands. I like the looks of the Mackie Onyx stuff but am just not sure how easy it will be to work. Hope this helps.
