Yes, aggressive is the word. Recently Microsoft launched an automatic
update on my machine and trashed the key to a speech synthesizer.
Fortunately the considerate vendor, who had encountered the same issue,
reset my key count.
I have subsequently changed from their recommended setting of automatic
to notify before updating. That gives me a chance to remove keys before
the update.
