When you import a file into reaper select it, press F2 to enter item properties and then adjust the pitch in there. You mentioned having to do this with multiple files . You could use the batch converter to process multiple files at once but if you go that route you will probably need to use ReaPitch or one of the JS Pitch up/Down plug ins. If you use one of th plug ins you will want to set it to be 100% wet with 0% dry. you can Import a file onto a track in reaper add one of th plugs ins to a track Find the settings you want and make sure it works. then save that as a preset in that plug in. Once you do that open the batch converter and add all the files you want then select the fx chain button and add that effect and select the preset you just saved. Once you do this you can click convert all and lit it rip through all the tracks in one go.

However, I will need to do myself a huge favor and alter all the Pal audio files in my movie collection. I know some things about arming and recording files since I have done so, and I have partially produced some files, but not others. Ugh. Anyhow, how do you simply lower the pitch of the entire file in MP3 or OGG formats? Do you need any special software for MP3 or what? Please fil me in. Thanks.
