[Rwp] different driver modes in reaper

Hey does anyone know how to defeat the built in compressor in the 
microsoft driver, I've done all the obvious things like turn off 
enhancements in that tab, in sound card settings, but I can't find that 
pesky thing but it sure is there, when you turn up a reaper volume feed 
it squeezes dog snot out of it.
This is only in wasapi mode.
It's no plug in reaper I varified that for sure.
