[Rwp] different driver modes in reaper

Chris, just a guess my ding dong belle friend, LOL :). The reason that
you get errors and latency in Sonar is because frankly Sonar is a
bloated pile of melted plastic trashcans with rubber hoses sticking
out of them! Grin.

 I can't say if the new X1 or whatever they call it is any better or
not than 8.53 in this regard.
Do you know if the engine Chris since you've had some experience with
the newer stuff somewhat has improved at all from the 8.5.x one?
Maybe they finally got Wasapi to work just as nicely as it does in Reaper.

But like I said to you off list once before, I think the reason Reaper
got it on their first try is because they know what they're doing as a
DAW manufacturer. Just my guess.
