[Rwp] introducing myself and issues encountered

Hello everyone,

Before I get to my plethora of questions, I would like to introduce myself, my name is Shawn and I am fairly new to the reaper family. I have a pretty good comprehension of these types of programs but I have no problem saying that I am willing to still learn. So, with that being said here we go.  One of the things that I have found on the web is a guide from brian Smart it is helpful but some of the functions havent worked for me such as, the selection feature with grabbing the take area it doesn't seem to anounce the region that is focused on. another thing would be  is the  nudge feature, witch I try to implore and it doesn't seem to nudge the selected region of audio for me.  Those are some of the issues that I have found to be a problem for me. If anyone could please help me with this it would be appreciated.
