Thanks for that Alan.  The computer I usually use for recording is windows 7 32 bit with a Tascam fw1884.  I will try reaper on my windows 8 64 bit laptop and see if I can get it all working on that.

Hi:

The problem seems to not be related to the plugin itself, cause it does not crashes but the preset library in reaper internal format I used to create the library. I cannot replicate the crash, in fact I loaded it into two or three different machines runing different operating sistems and all goes right.

If someone could try it maybe we can issolate the issue.....

Unfortunately I have any other idea right now, David. Perhaps you could try to install a portable fresh copy of reaper and test loading the rpl file from here....

Contact isotopes support and  let them know you are having an issue with it crashing when you try to load the plug in.

I purchased nectar elements vocal effects to use with Alan’s preset libraries but unfortunately whenever I try to load the preset libraries reaper crashes and I have to close it.  I am therefore left with an effects plugin which I don’t know how to use.

 

Does anybody know of any other way of accessing the nectar elements presets?
