[Rwp] Viewing MIDI events / notes in Reaper for Mac OS X

Hello all.
I am almost 100% sure that it was possible to view MIDI events and notes in
Reaper 3.x or 4.x on Mac OS X. However, I am not able to see anything
useful in 5.03.
Has anyone tried viewing MIDI events / notes and can point me to something
I may be doing wrong?
