[Rwp] Reaper 5.01 on OS X, unable to change slider values

The communication with with Reaper developers has been rather spotty over
the years.
I understand this may be due to the lack of resources, but I still find the
lack of interaction dissatisfactory.
O well, we will keep on trying!!!
