[Rwp] Reaper 5.01 on OS X, unable to change slider values

The latest version is 10.10 which is Yosemite. I am running Mavericks on one machine  and the metal of El Capitan on another both were upgrades to V5 and FX still work. Verify which version of OS X you ar running by pressing VO+M and going to about this mac. Also  Is this issue with Thrid party plug ins or reaper only plugins ?
