[Rwp] Automating effects

There are various ways to produce/mimick automation in Reaper. Apparently it
works better with Osara than Rea Access, in that you can customise envelopes
after you have created them. Under Rea Access, if you mess it up you have to
go back to the beginning and do it again.
I don't know more than that but www.cavitraining.org is about to run a short
course on Reaper with Osara which is to include info on how to customise
fade and panning envelopes.
Hope this helps,
Justin

Subject: [Rwp] Automating effects
Hi, I've just been reading the conversation on this list about effects
chaining, in wrich Chris intimated that automating effect parameters was a
bit of a chalenge. I was planning to start using Reaper with Osara on
windows this week, or at least attempt to start playing with it. One of my
major reasons for using Reaper above Protools, which I've been working with
for a year on the mac, is to be able to automate plugin parameters using a
control surface, through midi learn. So, having read Chris's comment about
plugin automation, I am looking for some clarification about if and how this
can be done. Thanks.
