[Rwp] Fading out

Yep, noted, there's probably not enough feedback here. Some similar
thoughts on working with multiple items have come out of the OSARA
short course the CAVI folks have been running. I'll be hitting GitHub
with a collection of related bugs and requests in the next few days,
just got to find a bit of time.
