Hi folks,
On my Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit system, I had serious problems with
the Reaper 64-bit evaluation and 32-bit instruments.
So in frustration in swiftly loaded Reaper 32 without even considering
the consequences, trashed 64-bit Osara, and every 64-bit related
Reaper thing, and now have Reaper 32-bit ready along with the keymap
imported.
WASAPI should work in shared mode on this computer.
At least it did in Reaper 4.0 or something.
But I was using ReaAccess then.
SO, how do I get something like the virtual guitarist stineburg plugin
to not only load but be playable?
I believe that my MIDI keyboard is generally set up and ready to go.
I just need to know what the steps are to test that I can hear stuff etc.
Are their any plugins that you folks suggest I grab and download in to
c:\Program Files (X86)\Reaper\Plugins to make MIDI configuration
easier?
I only have the default plugins installed along with Osara of course.
I have no clue how to get virtual insturments in general up and
running at this point.
I did it once with ReaAccess, but again that was ReaAccess.
No matter what I do with the: "Insert virtual instrument on new track"
I can never seem to hear anything at all.
Keys don't produce notes on my keyboard so I don't know what I'm doing
wrong here.
The Virtual guitarist plugin's params seem to be accessible thorugh shift p.
I'm still rather new to the keymap that you folks put together though.
Also, NVDA is not reading:
"File, Edit,View, etc"
it tstays 100 percent silent when alt is pushed.
That seems abnormal.
As far as I know, I have Wasapi configured properly, but I need to verify this.
If anybody can provide me with steps to verify that this is in fact
working, I'd appreciate it.
Also, I wasn't sure if I needed to, but I installed the 32-bit version
of Laim in to the Plugins folder for Reaper.
Did I put it in the wrong place?
Thanks!
I can easily move the Laim_enc.DLL file elseware if I have.
I just remembered this modification.
