[Rwp] Automation change in 5.04. For anyone using ReaAccess, you can now automate effects. Glad to see them fixing relevant bugs.

Hey,

Always friendly to noobs. Hope your Reaping experience is going well. :)

Automation means that when you play the project, some audio change
that you would have to perform manually happens automatically. This is
commonly used for quickly adjusting the volume a vocal track
throughout a song, say, during a bridge or chorus you might want to
boost background vocal parts, then during a verse drop the volume back
down again. Automation can also be used to introduce a reverb effect
for instance, slowly bringing up the wet signal at the end of a vocal
line for a huge cavern sound. It's pretty cool what you can do with
automation, though it's largely not needed for most things. At least,
not in rock and metal which is my specialty. :D

So you perform the changes once, then can play it back and those
alterations occur automatically.

Besides external effects, automation can change track mixer things
like pan and volume, though it's slow and tricky work at the moment if
you're using a regular keyboard (computer keyboard) only.

Someone else can probably explain this better, but I gave it a shot. :D

Peace,
Alex
