[Rwp] recording video

Hi,
I don't know if is what you are looking for, but...
For screen capture or if I want to use the webcam of the notebook, I use Virtual Dub...
The program can export avi, and I think that if you have the add-ons, you can
export other file types.
I think that I'm configuring something wrong, because the size of the
avi exported are too large!
But, for solving this problem, I use formatfactory to convert the big
avi file to other format, like mp4...
As loading the video on reaper, I can get it, but, I can't export
nothing... The exported video appears to be blinking... Maybe I'm
choosing the wrong options when rendering the file...

On OSX i know the built in Quicktime records screencapturs  so maybe see if windows movie maker does the same on windows?
