[Rwp] changing synth on NVDA

Problem is, the speech is going out somewhere... somewhere wher I might not 
have speakers hooked up (at least I think that is why it is not working 
properly) so, when I try to modify the synth output, I hear nothing.

Are there configuration files where I can set the synth by hand?
