[Rwp] speaking of plugins

Aha, in which case the solution might be simple. That presets combobox
is deceptive. Visually, there's a separator between the "default
preset" option and whatever is below it. For some reason, this affects
keyboard navigation. Yup, it sucks doesn't it. Try loading Fl Studio
again, and this time, when you reach that combobox that says "default
preset", hit the end key. That'll force the combobox open, move you
beyond the annoying separator and dump you right at the end of the
list of presets if there are any available in Reaper's native preset
browser. I'm expecting that there will be, seeing as you can see them
in Sonar. Once you've explored how the presets are named, you can use
first letter navigation to jump beyond that annoying separator to land
on stuff that's nearer to the top of the list to save yourself from
having to work backwards from the end each time. I'm guessing that the
behaviour is different in Silynth1 because that plugin probably loads
with a particular preset selected, which means you'd already be beyond
the separator and your arrow keys would work as expected without
needing any workarounds.
Let us know if that helps
