[Rwp] From server administrator/list moderator: Bouncing messages

Hello,

This morning I woke up to nearly a hundred notices in my inbox about RWP
list members bouncing mail. I have the list set to notify me, and
disable bouncing members, immediately so if my server is having problems
delivering mail, I know about it immediately.

There is nothing wrong with your Email accounts, and everything should
be back to normal. The problem is that Theoreomonster sent an attachment
this morning, not knowing if the list supports it. The list does...but
Gmail, and apparently other Email systems using Google servers, will
outright block attachments containing executables. As far as I know,
it's not that this particular attachment was seen as a threat, it's just
a blanket policy of blocking *all* attachments containing any sort of
executable whatsoever. I've seen this happen before, and yes, it is
annoying.

There have been a few messages to the RWP list since this happened, and
unfortunately I cannot retrieve them and send them to anyone who might
have missed them.

I've reset everyone's bouncing information, so if you received an Email
saying your address is bouncing mail and to click a link or reply to
confirm you received this message, and you haven't yet done so or didn't
know if it was legitimate, the message was legitimate but you can
disregard it, since your address is no longer flagged as bouncing mail.

Thank you for your understanding,

Jayson Smith
