[Rwp] Changing bank / patch with qws and softsynth in Reaper.

Hi.
I have a question.
At the moment I'm trying to work with a vst softsynth using Reaper as
a host for it.
In Reaper I can see presets and change them, but ai can't get to all
sounds since I can't change the bank or patch number in the plugin.
I had an idea to set up virtual midi ports using Midi Yoke and using
qws (Quick windows sequencer) to change the banks and patches on the
synth plugin that Reaper controlls.
At the moment I can't get this to work and I'm wondering if anyone
else on the list have tried this.
I have a track in Reaper with the synth on it, with the midi input as
my Roland juno-g keybord, and the midi output as midi yoke 1.
Then in qws I set the midi yoke in to the same number.
However trying to change patches and banks in qws Changes nothing in Reaper.
Am i missing something?
Looking forward to finding some sollutions for this problem.
