Correct. I can't do anything about this without significant enhancements 
to REAPER's API.

I can't quite work out what the workflow is for getting issues noticed 
by Cockos. They seem to be quite responsive in some ways, yet none of 
the issues I've filed (and quite a few others I'm watching) have ever 
had any attention. It seems that there has to be quite a bit of general 
chit chat about a given issue on the forums before it gets noticed or 
something.
