[Rwp] An issue with lag

Hello advanced Reaper users out there. :) I am new to the Reaper
scene, and I am trying to get started making some projects. However, I
am running into an interesting problem whenever I attempt to record
using any VST. While I record, there is about a 75 MS lag between when
I actually press the note and when the sound is played. This isn't too
bad. The problem is that when I play back what I have recorded, reaper
is not accounting for the lag. In other words, when I record a piece
in rhythm with the metronome, when I play it back, the piece isn't on
time with the metronome. Everything is 75 MS earlier. I hope this
makes sense. So my question is, is there a setting in Reaper that will
allow me to set a value to automatically adjust what I record to
account for lag? I would think that an advanced DAW like this would
have something along these lines somewhere. Any feedback would be
appreciated.
