[Rwp] interacting with plugins --ReaVerb for example?

Hi folks,
I'm doing my best to learn Reaper, but the learning curve is steep.

anyway, right now I'm trying to figure out how to apply an affect such
as ReaVerb.

I press f with a track selected.
I search for the effect, and the plugin comes up. This screen is not
very accessible. I understand that dropping out of there and pressing
shift-p brings up a dialog to modify parameters.
the problem I'm having now is that ReaVerb allows one to load in
presets or impulses, but this option doesn't seem to be available in
the shift-p dialog.
Am I missing something?

One very basic question I have also is how do I activate a button in a
dialog using NVDA if pressing space activates the "play" function?

Features and complexity are wonderful, but it's frustrating to learn.
