Hello everybody!
I hope you are all well.
I'm upgrading gradually from Sonar to Reaper and have some
questions:
1. How does the effects tracks and automation scheme within the
reaper?
For example, in Sonar, can designate an automation control
directly to a button or function of my keyboard controller,
as modulation.
How would I do this in Reaper?
2. How does the bus tracks?
In Sonar, there is a bus track to master and one for metronome.
And the reaper?
How would I insert the sends of tracks for a bus?
3. In the insertion of a type vocoder plug-in, I need some
set at Sonar for them to perform in synth mode, within the
Plug-in manager.
When it is not the case, then add the plug-in on the fx column and create one
midi track pointing his output for the plug-in.
In Reaper is the same or has a difference?
4. Recently tried using kontakt with the reaper with HSC set
produced by Steve spamer.
Everything works except the shortcut to search for samples that are
missing.
I think it's some of the disturbing reaper window, but would not know
say what, or if it is really so.
Anyone else with this problem?
For now it is.
I ask these questions because the jaws and the Sonar I have unfortunately not
are original.
I am now making a music production course and I'm the
idea of installing NVDA and reaaccess scripts in the studio where they will be
made practical activities and it definitely intend to use
reaper.
Is it a good solution?
The Reaper is a low-cost software, even in the trial version it does not
forces users to pay for the business license and NVDA is a
opensource software.
Here in Brazil, which is where I live the conditions of acquiring a license
to the jaws are very difficult.
The college would not accept it as it is already spending a lot of money
with infrastructure to make the course better.
Also, unfortunately the studios are not adapted for people with
visual impairment and this area of music production and audio recording
fascinates me.
What is your opinion about it, for that my situation?
Information on reaaccess scripts are very few. I must ask
that my teacher here between the list to stay on top of these
things?
Best Regards,
Gabriel
