[Rwp] Getting started with REAPER

Hey, you don't want to replace sonar with reaper,
that's like replacing your nice silver eagle bus with a motorcycle.

Just add it to your tools, and use either one when it is best.

Osara rocks, but it's early days, and it needs time to grow.

There's a lot I can do with reaper, but I spend way too much time trying
to figure out how to do simple tasks,
that
just plain work the way they're supposed to with sonar.

But I have finally fallen in love with this strange little DAW, created
by space aliens to confound normal humans,
and am determined to learn it well.

by the time I'm 99 years old, it might happen.

But I don't feel too bad because people a lot smarter than me have
publically and privately proclaimed that reaper makes them feel retarded.

Like for instance the other day I was trying to figure out why the hell
the control and shift left and right arrow keys don't select consecutive
items.

They were certainly defined in the actions lists, bigger than life, but
they just plain don't work.

On the PC I could use "reaear", but it found it strange, that you have to register, although you can’t see somebody behind this. the alternative could be reaper-osara.dll but the suggested download for a Keymap does not work . I always get the usual „ error (404) message, that shows that you dont’t habe a chance. So i would be gratefol for some hints or a short explnation, how to write my own keymap. Thanks a lot and
