[Rwp] Getting started with REAPER

Hello,
i have been working with Sonar for several years and think of changing to REAPER. I tried out "reaperacces" on my Mac and it seems to me that there are to many limitations at the moment. On the PC I could use "reaear", but it  found it strange, that you have to register, although you can’t see somebody behind this. the alternative could be reaper-osara.dll but the suggested download for a Keymap does not work . I always get the usual „ error (404) message, that shows that you dont’t habe a chance. So i would be gratefol for some hints or a short explnation, how to write my own keymap. Thanks a lot and
