[Rwp] Interesting circumstance when rendering selected items

Hi list.

So, I notice when I select several items in a project and tell Reaper 
in the render dialog to only render based on items, the beginning of 
each item in the list is attached onto the end of the last item.
For example, when I digitized a book using Reaper, the announcement of 
side 2 would be at the end of side 1's wave file, and also at the 
beginning of side 2's file. The announcement would be heard twice. Side 
3 would be at the end of side 2 and also at the beginning of side 3, 
thus also being played twice. This doesn't just happen with books, but 
with anything--recorded music or whatever, and only happens when I 
render based on items. Any ideas what's going on here?
