[Rwp] Reaper Newbie Questions

Hi all,

I'm new to the list, and to Reaper. I came to Reaper from using Sonar
for years, so I have a few questions I'm hoping I can get help with:

1. Is there a way to view Tempo changes in a project, like you can in
the Tempo view of Sonar?

2. Is there a way to view time signature changes in a project?

3. Is there a way to view all SysEx data in a project?

4. If one wants to use Reaper as a MIDI sequencer, how would one go
about setting track parameters such as MIDI volume, pan, bank,
program, reverb, chorus, etc.?

5. When viewing positions and lengths in the event list view of the
MIDI editor, is it possible to display them according to the number of
ticks per quarter note selected in preferences, rather than as a
percentage of the total value? For example, if, at 960 ticks per
quarter note, a note is 480 ticks long, could I display or enter it as
1.1.480, instead of 1.1.50? Having to use percentages rather than the
actual number of ticks is a little confusing, especially for notes
with odd timings.

6. Is there a way to adjust the number of ticks per quarter note on a
per project basis?

7. Is there a way to insert a series of events, such as tempo changes,
controllers, RPN's, NRPN's, pitch wheel events, etc. using a dialog?

8. Is there a way to only select part of a project, or even part of a
single track, for processing?

9. If I move to a particular place in the project, is there a way to
prevent MIDI notes that come before that position from sounding when I
press play?

10. Can I set the velocity of all notes in a track to one value, and
do things like velocity crescendos and decrescendos, again using a
dialog?

11. Reaper crashes whenever I go to render a project. Is there any
particular reason for this?
