Thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I suspect this won't help, as 
Kompakt is a stripped down, vendor-customised version of Kontakt. So, 
for example, the only way to load samples with EWQLSO Kompakt is to use 
menus of categories and samples which are drawn directly to the screen 
and are only mouse operable. Even though it's really just browsing the 
filesystem, there's no standard Open dialog to speak of. If there were, 
I could probably work with it.
