[RWP] Configuring FX (EQ)

Hello, my name is Drew Weber. I very much appreciate your time in 
reading/responding if you feel you can give me guidance.

I am fairly new to Reaper. I am using JFW 15 and Rae-Access. I am using 
Reaper V3.78
I am looking to EQ a track with a parametric EQ. I see an EQ under 
fx/Cockos. I see a combo box with presets and a UI button. Hitting space 
on UI starts playback, this is fine. Hitting enter brings up a comment 
edit box. Hitting escape takes me back to the main track view of Reaper.
I've enabled generic UI in preferences/plugins/VST.
Where can I see bands/sliders to manipulate the EQ?
