YOu can get refurbed dells all day long at
discountelectronics.com
good business class machines with a one year warranty for w7 and xp even
if you still need to go that far back.
I picked up an i7 laptop whic probably originally cost 2 grand for 250
bucks.
Sweet.
I've seen i7 and i5 machines there rotinely for 2 and 3 hundred bucks,
and you can buy dual core nice intel boxes all day long there for 1 to
2 hundred bucks.
YOu can buy pentium and even some dual core xp machines there for 60 and
70 bucks,
so they have pretty good deals.
Again, this is not home junk, but business class machines,
with a one year warranty, which is kind of not common for used gear,
and they do seem to have good after market service.
They are in Austin Texas,
everything is bigger and better in Texas don't ya know 'grin'?
Why the hell did I ever leave?
Well anyway, for what it's worth.
