[RWP] Anybody using Reaper 3.76 and sound forge 8 on Windows 8?

Yup that chick who wrote the article in windows secrets
was complaining that you couldn't install a certain version of dot net 
framework in w8,
so she kept an
appropriate machine around for software that needed that.
There are compatibility modes, and such for w8, but there's not even a 
w7 virtual windows 7 like w7 have a virtual xp mode for the higher 
versions of w7,
that vm ware thing you can go get.
which immulates xp.

Ms has it's own vm software, forget the name of it now,
but that xp thing is nice on w7 if you just want to run an old xp thing 
now and then.

Not good for daws, as usually they only support really minimal audio 
systems like sound blaster compatible and basic usb audio, but hey, it's 
there.

They should have at least put something like that in w8, but they didn't.
