[RWP] Anybody using Reaper 3.76 and sound forge 8 on Windows 8?

Speaking of sound forge, a lot of folks have bought 11, and are having very
annoying, unhappy times with it. Has anybody gone back to sony for an
earlier version? Or, can you just use your SF11 license to register an
older version.

I don't (and won't) use Windows 8/8.1 as my production environment, too many
weird glitchy things, and impossible to get DPC latency as low as Windows 7
even on a good optimized machine.
That having been said, I have a Windows 8.1 box to play with, but have not
tried using SoundForge 8 on it. You might actually have better luck using 7.
It doesn't depend on the evil dot net frameworks and such, and is, in my
opinion, more stable anyway.
