[RWP] Midi controller questions

Not really a reaper question - but I figured I'd ask here because
there are so many audio tech savvy people here.  I'm trying to learn
about midi  controllers because I want to save to buy one, and I found
one I am interested in - the m-audio keystation series (the 61 key
model to be specific)   But my question is, and sorry if this is a
terribly noobish question, but would that particular controller come
with ssynths included?  I don't have any synths currently, other than
the ones built into reaper, so I wanted to get a controller that came
with enough to start composing with.  Now the M-audio comes with
ableton light, so would that have synths that would be usable?  I
suppose this is also a general midi controller question, because every
controller I look at doesn't say if it has synths included with it or
not, but I see a lot of youtube demos where they are playing drum kits
on the controller and stuff and was a bit confused about  whether
those were built in, or packaged with the controller or not.
