In the interest of cutting down the amount of button bashing, if you
wanted to select all items on a track you could do that without lots
of Ctrl+Shift+arrowing. Shift+A will select the item under the cursor.
If you follow that up with a Ctrl+A, it'll select all of the items on
the track and speak how many are selected. Note that the keystrokes
have to come directly after one another for this to work.
