[Rwp] midi clock, timecode and latency

Hi all:

I'm having fun trying to sync up four external sources to Reaper as a
master clock, three keyboards and an external step sequencer to control
CV inputs for an analog synthesizer. Yamaha Motif XS, Korg MikcroKorg,
Arturia MicroBrute and Arturia BeatStep. The MicroBrute has it's own
step sequencer, which I want to run independently of the CV out from the
other sequencer to control various aspects of the synth, which can't be
done with it's internal one.
The problem I'm having is that, when I send play from Reaper, everything
syncs up to project tempo and start/stop just fine, but all behind from
the audio and metronome by about 50 MS or so. Audio latency is not the
problem (running at 32 samples at 48 khz yields quite low latency
there.) Same issue exists with a midi metronome.
My step sequencer doesn't support MTC, so doesn't follow Reaper's
transport, but that is to be expected.
I've played with some of the midi latency stuff, but so far, haven't
gotten anything to be more interesting.
At least all the midi stuff is lined up with itself, but that's about
the only good thing here.
Anyone have suggestions? Has anyone here done much with clock to
external hardware? I don't have any latency problems with just straight
input/output of midi, only when trying to sync all this stuff up. I am
using Reaper V4.76 32-bit, should that matter.
