Tristan,

Cool man, I've made countless mistakes in Reaper and still learning. Please see below, a possible answer to your question.

Once you've selected your midi data, press Control plus Enter. Once you're in the editor, , press Control plus the letter T, if you're using Reaaccess, you'll hear, "Play when navigation on", this is a toggle. I'm not sure what Osara will announce though. From here you can use control plus the arrows to navigate between notes etc. I hope this helps.

Hi,I must embarrassingly admit that the reason I wasn't getting any notes read by my screen reader was because I was looking on a track with no midi darter. Blushes. When alt +3 is checked in the menu that seems to be reading the right information I want. However, I saw in a pod cast by Ken Downey that he was able to hear back what he was scrolling through by using control enter to go into midi access. Even though I have followed his instructions on setting up the option in midi editor I don't seem to be getting any playback using either midi access or the event view. It's a shame that the event view doesn't allow you to play back as you are moving through it. It really would make life easier. I wonder though if there is something I'm not doing that prevents me from playing back using midi access? If I could get that working, that would at least allow me to edit note mistakes and such a lot quicker.
