Hey, good for you man.
Well, part of the problem I'm sure is that you don't have any key
bindings going on,
and I'd use NVDA, window-eyes and jaws are supposed to do MSAA, but all
these screen-readers handle it a bit differently, and I have had the
most mojo with NVDA.
I still use the big bloaters some, but I'm more and more using NVDA
these days, especially on the web.
It's the only screen-reader that doesn't piss me off on a regular bassis
'grin';
Have you done all the stuff, install sws, and put the files where
they're supposed to go and all that?
Do you not get any feed back when you arrow around, if you're used to
reaccess, it's not the same at all, this is a new deal.
I know how kermudgenly I am,
about getting used to things, so I knew for me that if i had reaccess
expectations, I'd hang myself before I ever got started, so I'm
pretending I don't know anything about reaper,
and gonna grow with the
new thing and see how far it goes.
Don't give up, if an old fuzzy headed
guy like me can make it work, anybody can 'grin'
I'm still learning myself, when I get more up to speed, I'll try and
help others.
Now one thing I want to figure out how to do is make automation behave
the way i want.
And not snap back to the prior value when i let go the control.
I don't see the obvious setting for that anyplace.
Patrick says it's just a default, and it can be disabled.
If I can make automation behave in reaper like it does in sonar, I'm one
step closer to adopting reaper as a real daw.
