Actually, sighted users can glance at the time on screen (depending on 
time ruler unit), which is probably a valid argument for having a 
command like that. Hitting control+j then escape can be done quite fast 
and is only one extra keystroke, but you do have to listen to irrelevant 
stuff about the dialog, so I can see how that would be inefficient. So, 
if you want it, file an enhancement in GitHub.
