[Rwp] My recording problem continued.

Hi Folks:

 

This will probably be my last post on this subject.

 

Jamie:  in goldWave, a new recording completely replaces the material that
was originally on that track whether it was recorded via goldwave or a
pre-recorded file that I load in to goldWave.

 

As for my question:  I'm not looking for a work-around, I am simply asking
if whether or not Reaper has an option to completely replace pre-recorded
material with the new recording rather than creating new items or takes.

 

Anyway, thanks all over the place gang.
