[Rwp] A recording Question.

Hmmm. Assuming I've understood what you're asking better now, I don't
think that's possible in Reaper. So far as I can tell the option I
sent along earlier would be the closest you can get in as much as that
it acts like a tape recorder from the point of view of someone who's
listening along the timeline in a linear fashion, but there has to be
items and files generated behind the scenes each time you punch in to
enable non-destructive editing. I guess you'll need to ignore that
it's happening, treat Reaper like a tape machine, render down to a
single file whenever you're happy with what's on the timeline and do a
bit of cleaning afterward. If you're sure you'll never want those temp
files back, I guess you could keep the cleaning to a minimum by
specifying a directory for the default recording path that you're
happy to nuke every now and then.

Sorry I couldn't help more man.
