Robin,

I'm afraid I don't know much about automation, so can't help much there. Press Shift plus the letter F, to put Fx on the master. Shift plus the letter B will bypass the Fx placed on it.

Hope this helps in some way.

Is it possible to apply an FX on the master mix, as if an FX was 
activate on all track in same time?
I want to experiment automation, but for the moment, I only able to play 
with FX track by track.
