[Rwp] automation without controller how?

Hm.. So it don't work or i doing something not properly.
1. import some audio to track.
2. set on this track automation to write
3. switch to some time point for example 2 measure
4. change volume or pan using virtual mode.
5 switch to another time for example 5 measure and change volume to 
another level.
6. Switch automation to read, press home to jump to start of project and 
press play
7. Nothing happens with volume.
What i doing wrong?
