[Rwp] Using envelope points with ReaAccess

I am using ReaAccess with Reaper 4.71 and Jaws 13 in windows 7.
Can any one help me who has been able to use envelope points, I haven’t been very successful at automating an effects parameter as yet.  I would be very grateful for any guidance.
