[Rwp] New to the List and a question about ASIO Driver

Dear All,

 

                I am a solo musician, as well as a music director for a
church in Tampa, Florida. I was referred to this list by a couple of
subscribers to the NFB's Performing Arts Division. Last Christmas I
purchased a Focusrite 2i2 audio interface and soon found out it didn't work
well with Audacity, since Audacity is not compatible with the ASIO driver
used by the interface. Before I get too involved in trying to use Reaper,
can someone tell me if I can use the interface and its drivers without the
latency I experience with Audacity? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
