What is osara?

Thanks

blindness is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.

But ProTools will not allow me to automate plugins with any midi control service, nor will it allow me to automate plugins using my computer keyboard. So, given that I have a laptop with Windows (currently windows 7, although I can upgrade) I think I am going to have to give windows a go, since I could really do with being able to automate things with faders and knobs without having to spend £3000 on a specific type of control surface. Plus, accessibility for Reaper seems much more developed on windows than on mac.

I’ve read the information on https://github.com/nvaccess/osara and I know that I can see and interact with the automatable parameters, but I just wanted to make sure people were then able to attribute this to a knob or fader on their midi control surface.
