[Rwp] A Mac?

Any mac software will run
just fine, but your performance mileage may vary with windows.

Here's another shitty little thing about mac, they don't let you run
just any version of windows, usually only the latest,
in boot camp so if you wanted to run windows 7 on a newer mac, forget
it, your only recourse is to get an older one.

And then see my other long email, you can't adjust anything,
at the low level, so if you do have dpc problems you are screwed.

Also keep in mind since later versions of windows don't have the classic
view things, helper apps and such
like ahk or hsc won't work as expected, and
so any development which hasn't been redone
for windows 8 or onward that depends on screen scraping might leave you
out in the cold for third party plugs and such you might want to run.

for things that don't use generic access such as the reapers exposed
parms list.
a lot of hsc work got broken with windows 8 and sonar, and I imagine
it's probably the same with reaper,
if you'[re wanting to run scripted plugs and take advantage of the work
that's already been done.
I realize this isn't as much an issue with reaper,
considering not as much has been done for it, but still,
I think Steve has ported some of his stuff over for reaper users, and
he's done quite a bit,
so you will want a windows 7 build for sure if you want to take
advantage of all the stuff you can.
and you won't get that on a new mac.
