Hey, just curious how others find the waves guitar stuff?

I produce mostly country and classic rock and pop sorts of things,
and find enough variation with that stuff, as well as adding a few bits
here and there.
I do mostly 6 string stuff,
and if I need to venture in to contra land a bit a little creative
tuning and such does enough for me.
I know there are more metal type
guitar folks here,
and that requires different high gain tones than what I mostly use,
I do use distortion but tend to the more over drive and warmer tones
rather than massive distortion.
that classic rock and country require, but was just curious what metal
producers thought of the wavs stuff in that regard.
