Guitar tone is one of these things that guitar players obsess over, but
at the same time,
every rule has been broken to get crazy tones.

A thought comes to me from
Jumping Jack Flash of the Stones, using a junkhy sound hole pickup
on an acoustic run through an amp.

Terrible combination and would never be recommended for a typical guitar
set-up, but worked perfectly for that song.

But keep in mind, many of these fancy guitar processor multi-fx
machines just string together lots of stock fx,
compressors, delays, choruses, verbs, phasers and flangers,
and on and on, things you can easily configure as separate modules, and
then add together to make your own yummy chain.

Since reaper lends itself to paralel processing, this makes it even more
fun and challenging.
