Hi, there are free guitar amp with fx-processors. Green Machine is free since 2011, it has VST presets and many parametters to tweak.
Fretted synth has 2 free guitar processors too.
As regards to cabinet simulations most of users prefer Lecab 2 by Lepou Plugins, it crushes in my system though. So i use cab sim by Ignite Amps, but it needs some mouse cursor movements.
If you'd like to understand guitar cabinets, please, try to turn off the speaker simulation in juicy77 for instance, the sound is terrible.
