Honestly, you can forget about Native Instruments stuff ever giving us
any degree of accessibility out of the box. The only reason Kontakt
works at all is because of the incredible scripting that Gianluca has
made available with auto hotkey. Other than that, battery, guitar rig,
and even the stupid service center is completely useless with a screen
reader. Also, as far as kontakt goes, even if a sample library is
completely free to you the user, if the creator of the instrument
hasn't licensed their library with Native Instruments, Native
Instruments only allows you fifteen minutes of playing time before you
have to restart the kontakt plugin. Not to mention having to go through
the frustrating experience of trying unsuccessfully to transfer the
registration of your stuff to a computer that is offline. Lots of 404
errors on the Native Instruments registration site, too, with no help
from them. And, they are aware of the accessibility issues we face, and
have no plans whatsoever to do anything about them. Even sighted people
have plenty of complaints about them.
